Moving from another podcast app

Export your subscriptions from the other app (often called OPML), then in Podsy open the gear menu, Settings, Import Shows. You can pick the file, paste the export as text, or open the file in Podsy from the share sheet. An Overcast export also brings over what you've played.

Backing up your shows

Settings, Export Shows saves your shows with their categories and which episodes you've played. Importing that file brings it all back, here or on a new phone.

Sync between iPhone and iPad

Podsy syncs through iCloud when you're signed in on both devices. Downloads stay on each device.

A show is in the Archive

Shows and people with nothing left to play move to the Archive, at the top of the front page. They come back with their next episode. Pull down on the front page to refresh.

A show stopped updating

Some shows move to a new address or close down. Open the show and pull down to refresh; if it still fails, search for it again with Add a show.
